About

Megan has interests ranging from charcoal sketches to acrylic and watercolor paintings. Her work has been shown at the Kentucky State Fair, the Louisville Water Tower and Safety Harbor City Hall. Her most recent fascination is the ancient Japanese art of fish print, known as “gyotoku.” Using acrylic paints, she matches the color and texture of fish and transfers the image onto rice paper, showcasing every detail. It’s a way to combine two things she loves: art and the sea.

Megan is currently taking classes at the Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, FL. She is pursuing a certificate in digital graphics to broaden her range of skills.
